Official Rules
These rules govern every paid tournament on Game4Pay. By entering a paid tournament you agree to them. Free practice and free tournaments are open to all registered users and are not subject to the entry or prize terms below.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are in no way associated with, these tournaments. Any questions, comments, or complaints must be directed to Game4Pay, not to Apple or Google.
Sponsor
All tournaments are sponsored and operated by Eminent Concepts Technology Limited (CAC Reg. RC 8278868), Nigeria — referred to here as "Game4Pay".
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a registered Game4Pay account in your own name. One account per person.
Paid tournaments are only available where Game4Pay offers real-money play. Where they are not offered, free practice and free tournaments remain available and your account is otherwise unaffected.
Employees of Eminent Concepts Technology Limited, and their immediate families, may not enter paid tournaments.
Entry
Each tournament shows its entry fee, prize pool, and closing time before you commit. The entry fee is taken from your wallet at the moment you join and is not refundable once the group starts playing.
If a group never fills, your entry is returned to your wallet in full.
How a winner is determined
Winners are determined by SKILL. Game4Pay does not run games of chance and no part of a prize is awarded at random.
Prizes
Prizes are credited to the winner's Game4Pay wallet automatically when the tournament settles, in the currency of that tournament. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for another form.
Withdrawals to a bank account are subject to the fees and limits shown in the app before you confirm, and to identity verification where required.
Fair play
Game4Pay may void an entry, withhold a prize, or close an account where it finds evidence of cheating. What counts as cheating:
Disputes
If you believe a result is wrong, contact support from inside the app within 7 days of the tournament settling and include the tournament and group. Game4Pay will review the server-side record of the round — the board seed, the submitted scores, and their timestamps — and respond with what it shows.
Game4Pay's decision on a disputed result is final. This does not affect any rights you have under the law of your country.
Changes to these rules
Game4Pay may update these rules. The version shown here always applies to tournaments you enter from now on; it never changes the terms of a tournament you have already entered.
