Getting Started
What is Game4Pay?
Game4Pay is a skill-gaming platform. You enter a tournament in one of our games — 2048, Candy Link, Block Drift, Water Sort, Sudoku, Nova Rush, Gem Tumble or Pool Quest — play your best run inside the time window, and take a share of the prize pool if you finish top of your group's leaderboard. Entry fees run across five levels, from a first paid rung up to high-stakes tables, and both the entry and the prize are shown before you confirm. Free tournaments with house-funded prizes run alongside the paid ones, and practice is unlimited. No randomised payouts, no slot machines — skill decides everything.
How do I create an account?
Tap Sign up from the welcome screen and use email + a strong password, or one-tap with Google / Apple / Facebook. You'll set your country at signup — that determines which wallet currency we open for you by default.
Is Game4Pay free to use?
Yes — creating an account, browsing tournaments, joining FREE-tier tournaments, and practising in any game cost nothing. You only ever pay when you choose to enter a paid tournament, and the entry price is shown before you confirm.
Do I have to deposit before I can play?
No. FREE tournaments and practice mode let you play, climb leaderboards, and earn community kudos without spending anything. Deposit only when you're ready to enter a paid tournament.
What's the minimum age?
You must be 18 or older to play paid tournaments and withdraw winnings. We may ask for ID verification before processing your first payout.
Tournaments & Play
How does a tournament work?
Each tournament has one game, one tier (FREE / BRONZE / SILVER / GOLD / PLATINUM), a fixed entry price, a fixed time window, and a prize pool that grows as players join. You pay the entry, play your best run in the game, and your top qualifying score lands on the leaderboard. When the window ends, the prize pool is split among the top finishers per the tournament's payout rules.
Can I retry if I have a bad run?
Most tournaments allow multiple attempts within the window — your best score is the one that counts. Some tiers cap attempts; the limit (if any) is shown on the tournament card before you join.
What are tournament tiers?
Tiers are entry levels — FREE, BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM — running from free entry up to the highest entry fees. Higher tiers have larger entry fees, larger prize pools, and tougher competition. Start at a lower entry level to learn the meta.
How are prize pools calculated?
Prize pool = (entry price × number of paid entries) minus our platform rake. The exact rake percentage for the tournament is shown on the card (e.g. "− 8% rake"). Bonus credits sometimes top up the pool — those add to your winnings, never subtract.
When do I get paid for winning?
As soon as the tournament window closes and results settle, your share is credited to your Game4Pay wallet automatically — no claim button to press. You can keep it in your wallet for your next entry or withdraw it to your bank.
Is the game fair? Could a bot beat me?
Everyone in your group plays the IDENTICAL board. It is generated from a single seed held by our server, so nobody gets an easier layout and nobody can re-roll theirs. Scoring has no randomness in it either — the same moves on the same board always produce the same score. On top of that we validate every score server-side, so a tampered or impossible client score is rejected before it reaches the leaderboard. Suspected accounts are frozen and reviewed; confirmed cheaters are banned and their entries refunded to honest players.
Is this gambling?
No. Gambling needs three things together: you pay to enter, you can win a prize, and the outcome depends on CHANCE. The first two are true of a paid tournament here. The third is not. Everyone in a group plays the identical board, scoring is entirely down to your own inputs, you are matched against players of similar measured skill, and everyone gets the same time window and the same number of attempts. A better player wins more often — which is exactly what a game of chance cannot do. You must be 18 or over to play for cash, and free practice and free tournaments are always available.
How are opponents chosen?
By skill. Every player carries a rating that goes up when they beat stronger players and down when they lose to weaker ones, and the matchmaker tries to put you with people close to your rating. It means a beginner is not dropped in against the top of the leaderboard on their first paid entry, and it is one of the reasons results here reflect skill rather than luck.
Wallet & Currency
Which currencies can I play in?
Two: the Nigerian naira (NGN) and the Ghanaian cedi (GHS). Your account opens a wallet in your own country's currency. Global tournaments put players from Nigeria and Ghana in one prize pool and are priced in US dollars, but you pay the entry and receive any prize in your own naira or cedi wallet, at the rate shown when you join. There is no US dollar wallet.
Why do I have more than one wallet?
Each currency is its own wallet, so balances stay accurate and no hidden exchange charge creeps in. Your first wallet is opened in your own country's currency; you can add the other one (naira or cedi) from the Wallet screen.
Can I move funds between my wallets?
Not directly — currency exchange isn't something we want to charge you for at hidden rates. Instead, deposit to the wallet you need, or withdraw and redeposit on your end if you're moving meaningful amounts.
Will my balance expire?
No. Funds you've deposited or won never expire. Promotional bonus credits sometimes have expiry — those are clearly tagged when you receive them.
Deposits
How do I add money to my wallet?
Open the Wallet tab, tap Deposit, enter the amount and pick a method. In Nigeria you can pay by bank transfer, USSD or OPay; in Ghana, by mobile money or bank transfer. Payments are processed by Flutterwave, a licensed payment provider. We do not accept cards.
How fast do deposits clear?
Usually within a minute: your wallet updates as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment, and occasionally a bank takes longer. If the app gives you a one-time account number, send exactly the amount shown before the time runs out. A different amount, or a late transfer, is returned to you by the bank instead of reaching your wallet.
What's the minimum deposit?
Minimums vary by currency and are shown on the Deposit screen. They're intentionally low so you can start small.
My deposit failed but my bank deducted me — what now?
If the deposit didn't arrive in your Game4Pay wallet within 30 minutes, contact support with the transaction reference (you'll have it from your bank SMS or app). We'll reconcile against our processor and either credit you or initiate a refund.
Do you charge a deposit fee?
No. Deposits are free: we pay the payment provider's charge. Your own bank or mobile-money provider may charge you for sending the payment; that charge is between you and them.
Withdrawals & Payouts
How do I withdraw my winnings?
Wallet → Withdraw. Pick where the money goes (a bank account in your own name, or mobile money in Ghana; add one if you haven't already), enter the amount and confirm. The fee and the amount you'll receive are shown before you tap Confirm, so there are no surprises.
How long do withdrawals take?
We pay every withdrawal within 24 hours of your request, and the app shows the date and time it will be paid by. A withdrawal to a bank account in Ghana is sent by the next working day. You can follow its progress under Transactions.
What's the withdrawal fee?
A small fee is charged on each withdrawal. It is shown on the withdrawal screen before you confirm, and the "You'll receive" line is always the exact amount that reaches you.
Is there a minimum or maximum withdrawal?
Yes — both are set per currency and shown on the Withdraw screen as you type. We use minimums to keep processor fees from eating your payout; maximums are for fraud protection and can be raised after KYC verification.
Do you require ID verification (KYC)?
Smaller withdrawals usually don't. Larger withdrawals and any unusual pattern will trigger KYC — typically a government ID + selfie. KYC is a one-time process and unlocks higher limits.
My withdrawal is "pending" — should I worry?
No. Pending means it is on its way: either our payment provider is processing it, or it is queued and will be sent automatically. Every withdrawal is paid within 24 hours of your request, and the app shows the date. If that date passes, contact support and we'll trace it.
Security & Account
How do I enable biometric login?
After your first password sign-in, you'll be asked whether to use Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint next time. You can turn it on or off at any time under Account → Login & PIN.
Can I set up two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Yes. Go to Account → Two-factor authentication and add Game4Pay to any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and others). You'll also get one-time backup codes; keep them somewhere safe in case you lose your phone.
I forgot my password — how do I reset?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Reset Password?" and enter your account email. We'll email you a 6-digit code; enter it and choose a new password.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Delete my account. Withdraw any money in your wallet first. We hold the request for 30 days in case you change your mind; then the account is closed and your identity is removed. Financial records are kept, without your identity, for as long as anti-money-laundering rules require. Our Data Deletion Policy has the details.
Is my data safe?
Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. You pay by bank transfer, USSD or mobile money through Flutterwave, so your bank login and PIN never reach us, and we never handle card details. Sessions use short-lived access tokens, and you can turn on two-factor authentication. Our Privacy Policy has the full breakdown.
Trouble & Support
The app crashed during my tournament run — does that score count?
If a crash happens mid-attempt, the in-progress run is paused on the server side. When you reopen the app you can resume from the last autosaved state, or start a new attempt — whichever scores higher counts.
I think there's a bug — how do I report it?
Tap Account → Contact support and include the screen you were on, what you tapped, and what you expected. Screenshots help a lot. We triage every report and ship fixes weekly.
A scammer asked for my password / OTP — what do I do?
Never share your password, OTP, PIN, or refresh tokens with anyone. Game4Pay support will NEVER ask for those. If you shared something already, change your password immediately and email support — we can lock the session and review activity.
How do I contact support?
Account → Contact support opens a ticket inside the app, or email [email protected] directly. We typically respond within 24 hours; for payment issues, much faster.
